Coordinated and arranged all details for a guided China Town History Tour (Discover The Past) field trip in downtown Victoria, to wrap up a unit on Ancient China. Arranged a guest speaker to come into the classroom to talk about the issue of homelessness which was based on the schools social responsibility theme, Social Responsibility in the Community. Grade Division 2 included 26 students, 6 of whom have IEPs and a further 5 that are at risk. Subjects taught were Social Studies and Language Arts. Established a Poetry Club within the Middle School for students to attend at lunch and after school.
